Ocean Vuong has struck again, and his new novel might have you tear up !

In an ashen post-industrial America, two struggling souls meet, to form an everlasting bond. Grazina, an old lithuanian lady suffering from dementia and Hai, a young vietnamese man who has seemingly lost it all, both find solace and comfort into this unexpected friendship.

Ocean Vuong masters the art of using poetic phrasing to depict wrecking realities that will simply crush you ! I will forever be thankful for this masterpiece I still feel moved by to this day.
